Bee Hive trip.

This morning a group of children and their educators ventured out into the community to view a bee hive that was in the yard of one of our families homes. Preparing for our excursion, the children were given multiple items and we discussed some important safety tips that we would need to keep in mind for our trip. We set off on a rather long walk, observing many different things along the way and even having a chat to some of the members of our community, whom the children were all to eager to let know we were off to see a bee hive. Upon arrival, we immediately saw the hive and the children did a wonderful job of keeping a safe distance, so not to disturb the bees. We saw some bees wax and had a feel, observing some dried up honey on it as we did so. After a rest and some water, we set off back to the centre. It was a wonderful morning out in our community today.
