The Koala room is catered for preschool children aged 3-5 years. This room averages 15 children a day, and as a result, educators are able to cultivate strong, meaningful bonds with each child at our service given holistic opportunities to make wholesome friendships.
Our preschool room focuses on play-based learning and scaffolding life skills through child rearing opportunities for learning.

We offer breakfast, morning tea, afternoon tea and a late snack.
Education
Our service offers a child-led program centred around each child’s ideas, interests, culture, strengths, knowledge and abilities.
Our Educator’s apply intentional teaching strategies to scaffold every child’s learning and development through holistic approaches and shared observation.
Children are encouraged to progress developmentally though hands on approaches to learning, whilst every child is included to participate in the Educational Program.
Parents are able to view their child’s progress in the program through our online app which is updated daily.

We offer breakfast, morning tea, afternoon tea and a late snack. Infants also have lunch provided for them and are supported as they learn to navigate new textures and flavours.
What do I need to bring?
A labelled bag including your child’s lunch; cot-sized bed sheets; water bottle; pillow; spare clothes and a hat.
Is it affordable?
Our daily fees are set competitively relative to other childcare centres in the Hills area.
The Centre is registered to provide Child Care Subsidy (CCS) assistance to families. CCS is means tested and is available to eligible families..

Centre Director
Mel has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and has completed three years of her Bachelor of Education. She has worked in Early Childhood for 14 years and is passionate about supporting the strengths of each educator to bring about the best learning opportunities for every child.
Mel has developed a program that is both child-centred and progressive to support the inclusivity of all children. Her vision for the service has always been to promote high-quality care by offering professional learning and mentoring to every team member.

senior educator
Karly has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and has worked in the early years sector for nine years. Karly has worked with all ages from 6 weeks – 5 years and has a strong focus on fostering learning through the provision of engaging environments.
She believes that an engaging environment equates to engaged learning and the inclusivity of all children. Karly is very motivated to ensure the needs of each child are met and offers versatile approaches to supporting every child.
