Something Wild!

The Hills Little Learners Childcare animals

Today we were visited by Lee for the ‘something wild’ incursion. The children were extremely excited and eagerly sat down to see what Lee had brought with her. First up, we met blossom the ring tailed possum, followed by Kermit the tawney frog mouth, princess the python, snappy the crocodile, bluey the blue tongue lizard and lastly Sheldon the turtle. The children were able to pat each animal and were even able to feed the tawny frog mouth bird. We learnt about each animals habitat, what they eat and what we should do if we come across certain animals. The kids and educators had a wonderful morning with our ‘something wild’ friends!
